Echo (echocardiogram)
Cardiac ultrasound to assess heart structure and pumping function, reviewed with you the same visit.
2D echocardiography
Colour Doppler study of the valves, chambers and blood flow. Three dedicated machines on site.
Stress treadmill test
Exercise testing to evaluate the heart under exertion. Common for chest-pain workup and pre-surgical clearance.
Coronary angiography
Imaging of the coronary arteries at The Nairobi Hospital catheterisation laboratory, interpreted by the same cardiologist who sees you in clinic.
